ABOUT
ME!
Fifi Fantôme is a Canadian-born, Berlin-based queer performance artist. Their work, using burlesque, aerial arts, and performance art, challenges societal norms around gender, sexuality, and the body. Internationally recognized, Fifi has performed at major festivals and venues including Festival Montréal Complètement Cirque, Berliner Festspiele, Stockholm Burlesque Festival, The Chicago Art Institute, KW Art Institute, and the Aerial Arts Festival Berlin.
A Die Etage Schule Der Darstellenden Künste graduate, Fifi founded The Velvet Creepers, a queer cabaret and circus company which has produced numerous sold-out productions. In 2023, they directed Forbidden Fruit, which reimagined Christian mythology and the Eucharist through a radical queer lens. This was followed by Earthly Delights in 2024, a live music and circus performance at Berlin's Museum of Communication during Lange Nacht der Museen. Their work continues to embody the pulse of Berlin’s avant-garde art scene, celebrating diversity, inclusion, and the breaking of boundaries in every performance.
